With Microsoft weighing a $10 billion investment in OpenAI, ChatGPT, as its acronym indicates, is a generative language model based on the ‘transformer’ architecture.
Founded by OpenAI in 2015, this language model is capable of processing large amounts of text and learning to perform natural language processing tasks effectively. This chat research tool crossed 1 million users in just 5 days after its launch. Many tech executives and venture capitalists have even compared it to Apple’s debut of the iPhone in 2007.
ChatGPT surpasses language barriers and can be utilised in various industries, such as improving customer service, generating attractive posts on social media, solving errors in code and many more. In this course, participants will learn the fundamentals of ChatGPT, examine its benefits and learn to employ its technology in businesses.

Kevin Chan, with over 2 decades of enabling partners and customers to develop opportunities in the areas of Cloud Computing at Microsoft Singapore, USA and Malaysia. Kevin is currently serving as the Chief Partner Officer at Microsoft Singapore, where he holds accountability for the overall partner engagement and strategy, playing a pivotal role in driving Microsoft's business success in the Singaporean market. With a keen focus on establishing mutually beneficial partnerships, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in developing sales and go-to-market strategies with various entities, including System Integrators, Managed Service Providers, Direct and Indirect Channel Sales, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), resulting in revenue growth and enhanced market penetration.
Throughout his career, Kevin has operated within global, regional, and local capacities to establish and manage field sales in addition to spearheading the management of partnership development and team leadership at Microsoft. Kevin graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BBA in Computer Information Systems.
